“Only Dreams,” a night of dazzle and extravagance, will be November 4 from 8 p.m. to midnight in the Sterling Gym.
Seniors Marissa Vargas, Noreen Santoorjian, Desi Metcalf, Courtney Brennan and Stephanie Hogan are the nominees who will compete for the crown of queen. Casey Gilliam, Sergio Sanabaria, Brent West, Jonathan Tapia, and Mike Keeling will compete for the crown of king.
Also on the court are juniors Kailey Crosslin and Adam Ortiz, sophomores Lizabeth Gonzales and Anthony Chavez, and freshmen Natalie Valdiva and Richard Correa as Homecoming princesses and princes.
The queen will be crowned during half-time at the Homecoming game against Fullerton on Nov. 3, and the king will be crowned during the Homecoming assembly in the stadium on November 3.
Different this year, may be an outdoor area provided for dancers.
The prices for this year’s homecoming dance are as follows $23 for couples with ASB; $21 for couples with ASB and T-shirt purchase; $25 for couples without ASB and $23 for couples without ASB but with T-shirt purchase.
Students will be able to purchase tickets at the door, but the price is raised to $60 per person. Students should buy tickets presale.
Dinner will not be included in the ticket and will not be served at the dance, though PTA will provide desserts and drinks for purchase.
If a student is bringing a guest from another school, they must have a guest card. If the card is not presented, the guest will not be accepted into the gym.
